The Laser Videodisc in the Federal Republic of Germany

This article reports on research into the use of laser videodiscs for instruction in
the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG). It describes the criteria for the selection of
classroom media and explains four configurations of the videodisc. It also reports on
the reactions of classroom teachers to the videodisc.
